2023 Lightning XLT ER
My build is more or less complete now. There are a few things I may end up doing still, but I have gotten it fixed up to where I wanted it to be.

What I started with:
2023 Oxford White Pro Extended Range with no options other than the ER battery. I got the Pro because it had the base of what I wanted, was locally available, and had a killer deal on it. I needed it to be an ER because of the amount of driving I do, at least 120 miles/day. I really like the vinyl interior, I live on a farm and usually have to coat the entire interior in some form of protection - rubber mats / seat covers anyway so vinyl was actually a bonus for me. I was worried about 2 things when I got it - losing Hands Free Blue Cruise that I had on my MME and some of the tech features like 360 cameras and PAAK. So far I haven’t really missed the PAAK, but would have loved tow tech package/max tow.

What I’ve done is below, it really turned this base Pro ER into my dream truck! So happy about how it’s turned out, and what a great vehicle it is.
  • Added Lane Centering and Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Added steering wheel cruise distance control button
  • Added Rain Sense automatic wipers
  • Added Raptor console work surface
  • Spray in bed liner, gloss black
  • Tailgate cleats
  • 20% front window tint
  • Turned on glare free high beams
  • Added front Light bar
  • Painted pro grille glossier back
  • Putco LED front emblem
  • Black appearance package rear emblem
  • Tufskinz matte black tailgate and charge door inserts
  • Double honk on exit disabled
  • Mud Flaps
  • Under seat storage
Very nice!

Just curious, what was your "all-in" cost (Truck + Accessories/Costs)?

Rounding a bit here, but roughly $53k. $51k for the truck after taxes, dealer fees, etc. and another $2,000-$2,500 for everything I added.

You pop the cover off above the rear view mirror and stick the sensor in the blank hole and plug it in. You’ll also need to install the steering wheel stalk which is a little more involved but basically pop off the top cover of the steering wheel, remove two small screws and swap in the new one. Then there’s a handful of FORScan changes that are needed as well.

There are a few very detailed threads on this forum and several videos as well that cover the step by step very well and make it fairly easy!
