After having the truck for about two months, I just noticed that the inside of the frunk lid is white when I have the grey metallic paint. It’s like they replaced the hood for some reason. Does anyone else have the underside of the hood a different color than the primary color? It’s like the hood was replaced for some reason. This may also give the reason the hood was not closing when I first bought the truck and had to close the hood by hand, it powered to the close position but wouldn’t latch. This has been repaired.

Just checked mine and the inside of the frunk lid is white, on my grey/blue body color truck.

I haven't had any issues with the frunk - besides it being annoyingly slow to open and close. And the fear of the incessant beeps if you close it from the cab and put it into drive before it decides it's "fully" closed.

Never noticed before. Guessing they're all unpainted like that. Thanks a lot, now I can't unsee it!

Base, metallic, clear. That's the order the paint goes on. There must be something in the production process that makes it more efficient to leave the metallic tint layer off in certain areas of the vehicle.

I noticed something similar on a metallic white Edge my wife used to own. I haven't noticed it on my Rapid Red Lightning but I haven't looked either.

Mine is white too, but my truck is Oxford White so that is probably not helpful to this discussion lol
