I’ve had my Lightning for about 3 months and am having a problem with my passenger rear taillight. It’s cracked like it’s 10 years old and water leaks in when it rains. For the next few hours, the light won’t work until it “dries” out. I have contacted Ford, took it into the service center at my local dealership and they have told me it is a $1300 fix and I would have to pay for it. Does anyone have any suggestions? Other side is fine. Just the one side.

Sucks but not sure how you would prove to Ford this is a truck issue and not something caused by some sort of damage

I cant tell from the photo but is the crack visible? can you at least dry it out and seal the crack to make it usable?

First thing I would do is try to talk to the service manager at the dealership and see if they can help you out in any way. If they are unwilling, I would contact Ford corporate customer service or message the Ford account on here. If that doesn't get results, you could try contacting another dealership.

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your F-150 concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.
