Powertrain Malfunction

I got an alert on my phone and on my dashboard that there is a Powertrain Malfunction! The truck started driving erratically and stoped in the middle of the street. It started moving again but only at 8 miles an hour. I barely got it home and called my service guy he said tow it to the dealership. I called ford roadside and they came to pick it up (took 2 times because the first wrecker can not handle the load). Got it to the dealership and all of a sudden got a call from Ford(on a recorded line). It sat the dealership for a couple of weeks, Service guy said "we do not know what is wrong with it". They saw the error code . They then asked if they good drive for a while and I said yes to see if it would do it again, 3 weeks later they said come pick it up, they had driven it many miles. They said they could not tell me what was wrong with it. Service guy said if it happens again "Don not turn it off and get it towed" !. Now Im anxious every time I get in it. My toughs are "is it going to stop in the middle of the freeway, street etc., is it going to catch fire" . So Im at point of now return cause the truck is not safe to drive.

I tried to fix that block of text to clarify what he's saying and something doesn't add up. Why would it take 2 weeks to check the code? Why would you leave the truck for 3 weeks after for them to test drive it?

If the problem is non existant and doesn't reappear then the truck is fine.

Because that’s the way Ford Dealers operate with Warranty issues especially EV’s. If they only have 1 EV specialist but multiple EV’s in for issues, it’s going to take a while.
