Same here. That's a huge loss.

I charge at 48 amps rather than 80 amps each night and my 2023 ER Lariat truck is always ready to go at 0700 so not sure why folks are so upset that the 24s do not charge at 80 amps. Also a slower charge is better for the battery.

It’s funny you replied to me today because this morning I had the exact situation on why 80 A is a game changer to me.

I have a long commute each day. So I need my vehicle to be charged.

I’ve been under the weather the last few days, and make some silly mistakes.

Last night, I forgot to plug in my truck after getting home and unloading the kids.

I remembered, at 5 AM this morning sitting on the toilet.

I immediately plugged my truck in, and when I left the house in an hour and 15 minutes later, I had added nearly 50 miles of range back to my truck.

Fast charging makes living with an electric vehicle, much more manageable.
