I’d appreciate your checking 1FT6W1EV6PWG25402 for pending updates. I bought the truck April 5 and received 4.2.1.1 April 26, although the truck still says “Ready to download” for the update status. I’d like to know if I have anything else pending and if 4.2.1.1 actually installed. Thanks!
That update went through and you can ignore the message you are seeing. No other OTA's have been sent to you since that one yet.

Feb build date; not OTA's sent yet but the truck is talking to the cloud just fine. Pending updates are below:

I am struggling to understand how to read this. My dealership is saying all available updates have been applied. I see a lot of April 10 “Last updated” on this report. April 10 was the date that I took the truck into the dealer to have a frunk problem fixed and they said they updated a bunch of modules.

So on this report, I see some Green dots under “Update Available” where the “Last updated“ is April 10 2024. If there is a green dot, doesn’t that suggest that there is an update available, but not installed?

Other green dots beside modules that show as last updated in Oct 2023.

I read this report as every line with a green dot is an update that needs to be installed. Is that not how I should be reading this?

@tbkfan Green dot means the module has a pending update. Ignore the dates on the right in terms of what you are trying to know. That is the last date a particular module reported itself to the server.

Just bought this used ‘23 Lariat SR. I’d love a check when you get a chance.

OTA history only shows one minor connectivity update, but the truck is on the latest Sync version and does not show a lot pf pending updates. Seems like this truck was manually updated with FDRS at some point. I would not expect a lot of OTA's due to the fact that a lot of the updates have already been done.

Warranty start date on this vehicle is a week ago, which means the modem was most likely just activated. There is nothing showing in your OTA history, but a week without updates is not a long time by any means. You just gotta wait for them to start coming in. Your truck is talking to the cloud just fine; I don't see any issues in that regard.

PTS is back up. OTA history is below. Last power up was 4.2.3.1 followed by a pair of PU updates. Nothing sent since. Looks like your VIN has not been added to the roll-out plan for 6.x.x and the newer string of updates yet.

Today marks exactly 300 days since my last OTA update.
I've pretty much given up at this point and just assume that I'll have to be happy with the software I have. I don't expect any of the new and improved stuff that everyone else is getting.

And to make it even more entertaining, I'm a member of the Early Access program for Ford Power-Ups. Which apparently means nothing.

If the attached TSB is the one you are referring to, then your truck is reporting the code associated with it.

Remind me tonight after 7pm eastern to check your truck in FDRS. Although, if you do have an issue preventing you from getting updates, you will need FDRS to fix it.

Truck is headed to the dealer next week and would like to address any missing updates while there.

As such, hoping y’all can provide an update status report for VIN:

1FT6W1EV5PWG48962

Many thanks!

At some point I would think the lack of OTA (knowing there are some pending) for a year is a warranty issue. I plan on starting to complain to the dealer in a month or two. I'm still waiting for them to get a LVB monitor replacement in so I can see if that magically does the trick.

I don’t disagree with you but any update that isn’t a safety issue is not covered in any kind of warranty. It is specifically called out I know in the extended warranties that SW updates are not covered.
