I used the park assist feature today at the gym, just because. Works well. I came across “REMOTE PARK ADJUST” in the owners manual today as well. Basically an option to adjust the truck while out of the cab via the Fordpass app. I don’t see anything in the app, and a quick internet search from last summer talked about he feature coming to the lightning. Anyone know if this is another future update to the app? Page 274-276 in the 2023 manual. I don’t see anything in the order guide calling it out, so would assume it is part of the active park assist 2.0. I didn’t know this was a thing, so very curious about it now.

It says it’s accessible once you setup PAAK. Then it says that in order to use it, you must have the physical fob in your pocket. Sounds nuts!

I don't see that option in the 2022 Lightning Manual, must be new for 2023.

This leaked about a year ago (Feb 2022). A Google search will tell you more.

Of course most people would never park where they couldn't get in and out, or would get dented.

Yea, I saw that article, and you are right I don’t see it being a widely used option for most. I would like to get it to work though, maybe in a future update? I am picturing a very large RC car in the form of a Ford Lightning, even if it is just used for small movements.

I park as far away from others as possible but would be very useful for tight home garages.

This is me. I'm the one all by myself 1000 feet from an entrance. I never park next to another vehicle unless absolutely necessary.

Same with me, the garage scenario makes sense.

If you have something like this you can find all kinds of small times you might use it. Sounds like it is a subset of Summon from Tesla. I back into parking and if I needed to put something in the trunk I'd grab my phone and move the car up several feet to get access.

However having to have a Fob in my pocket is a dead non starter and makes it useless.

There is one mention of remote park assist in 2022 manual under one pedal driving. But there is no other listing for it.

I got my truck Saturday and I see park assist under my order, but I can’t find the park button. I’m coming from an 07 accord so all of the features in this truck are a bit overwhelming so I’m sure I’m just overlooking it.

Where’s the park button to start the active park assist?

I'm in a Lariat, but it was a physical push button just under the 15" screen.

I got all excited then reread thread, 2022 with PAAK, but nothing about adjust (just wanted to try it getting out of garage). So 2023 option?
