EDITED: My OEMs (General Grabber) lasted 32k miles. Not bad! I replaced them with Michelin Defender LTX M/S2, which were highly recommended by our great rep, Matt, at Discount tire. Tires are very quiet, and have a nice ride. Seems like it was a good choice! Big shout out to Matt at DT, he was very professional and knowledgeable!

I think this tire would only work for those with 18inch rims. The Dueler LX doesn't have the 116T rated tire option that my trucks door sticker specifies (20 inch rims).

Pretty sure you would be ok with 115T as well based on what others have ran.

I think so. Tell you what, nothing like the grip and smoothness of new tires. Makes you realize how bad the old set were. These things are like buttah on the highway and city streets. Really like them. I truly hope they last close to their 65k warranty! That would be extraordinary!

115 is 2,679lbs, 116 is 2,756lbs so total difference is 308lbs across 4 tires. Probably insignificant unless you drive a fully loaded truck/trailer.

Glad to hear you're enjoying them

This is a great call out. Following industry standards for load inflation, there are instances where you can drop down from the factory tires load index, but only when the pressure can be adjusted to achieve the factory recommended load rating. For the L, the 115 will only work on the trim levels equipped with OE 115 load index tires. If your truck comes with the 116 option, it falls short.

We look at the factory tire's load index and construction and the factory recommended air pressure. We then cross reference these numbers using load inflation tables and the table indicates how much load the factory tire carries at the factory recommended pressure. For us, this is the minimum load carrying capacity the new/replacement tire must be able to carry. We then again utilize the load inflation table to find the recommend pressure to identify the proper pressure for the tires on the vehicle.

... replaced OEM Hancook Dynapro with BFG KO2s in same size... those tires have performed well on several ICE trucks in the past - we shall see on the Lightning.

Man, I love them Rony. I am 100% pleased with them. I haven't seen any up tick or down tick in range. Tires are very smooth and ultra quiet. I would buy them again!

Notice any change in traction on hard acceleration? Noise? Efficiency?

I will likely either get these for the range and tread life, or maybe the Toyo AT3 EV when/if they make them in 18s, and is people report acceptable range.

Do you do any significant highway driving. I do a lot of highway driving and don't want to take a range hit.
