you'd be surprised, I see these things more frequently than I am to come across another Lightning here in my area (H-Town) 🤘🏾
Ya, I rarely see another Lightning, I know of two others around the area, but I get excited when I see a brethren on the road.

These things are not selling well I hear.
Based on the actual sales numbers vs. the number of reservations, they converted less than 3% of their original 1,000,000 reservations to sales. Say what you will, that's not what I'd call "selling well."

First On Race Day!
And EVERY DAY in a Lightning...

A brand new Raptor pulled up on my right side at a Red-light today,
when the light changed and I heard his engine rev up, I couldn't resist, and just pulled a bit ahead of him, not trying to leave him in my dust...but not letting him pull ahead either...just a truck length..

Next light turned Red and we lined up for a second run, this time he tried to jump the light (foul-start) but it didn't help him, I pushed on the pedal just enought to pull ahead of him, again not leaving him behind, just ahead enough to give him the idea that he might be able to catch me...

- perfectly timed the third light we come to turns Red and we lined up a third time, Now he was revving the engine and watching to see when the green the other direction turned Yellow, Red 4, 3, 2, 1, I let him pull ahead on the green a good truck length and a half, then hit the pedal and peeled away effortlessly.
I made the forth light as it turned Red and he was too far behind, and he had to stop... fuming I bet.

I know, I know, we shouldn't tease with the ICE owners, but it was just too tempting...

I had a similar situation over the weekend(and many others since I have owned the truck) the weather was really nice yesterday and I was going to meet my family for brunch and some kid in a Mazda Miata with the top down with the radio blaring(which he had to do because he had souped it up a little bit so it was a bit loud) starts revving his engine at the light…I just kind of laughed to myself… but when the light turned green, I just hit it down about halfway and blew him away and never saw him again as he got caught at the next light! In hindsight, I wish I would’ve let him stay close so I could see the expression on his face🤣😂🤣

Yeah - it is more fun when you let them think they MIGHT be able to catch up...LOL.
The kid in a new WRX a few weeks ago was my favorite tease.
I don't think he even realized the Truck is Electric.

A lot of people don't notice the Lightning - it just looks like another pickup. And then you open the Frunk...!!
I copied one of the members here - on Sunday when we did groceries, I hit the Frunk button while we walk up to the truck, another similar aged couple walking near us look over hearing the beep beep - then they see the Frunk open - I say to my wife "look Dear, the engine got stolen AGAIN !!
The other couple laughed and got into their Model Y parked in the next row, LOL. That was funny.
