I think the confusion is that a majority of Lightning drivers use 1PD and for most people regen is associated with the deceleration experienced when releasing the accelerator pedal in 1PD. When you start talking about regen in 2PD it gets lost and people start talking past each other.I think part of the confusion comes from the fact that some folks saying their brake lights do come on with smaller deceleration (1PD off, foot off pedals) while the rest of us do not have that experience. I would buy your explanation if they are mistaking. But if they are actually seeing what they claim, the difference between behavior of our trucks is worth investigation.
