I've owned my Lariat extended range since last Friday (4/5/24). Today, when I asked my salesman about the Ford Charge Station Pro 80amp level 2 charger that is supposed to come complimentary, he directed me to contact SunRun who, after some online searches, I see facilitates the shipment of these.
However, when I called SunRun, the rep let me know partway through the call that as of 4/3/24, SunRun no longer performs this for f150 lightning customers and that I'd have to "get a coupon directly from the dealership."
I contacted my salesman, who had no idea this was a thing.
I still see a ton of marketing online that indicates SunRun still does this service, and that the extended batteries still come with the charge station pro.
The customer relations rep for my dealership happened to call me to ask how my purchase went, and I had a small laundry list of items (none that have me questioning this purchase) and it looks like they're working to get to the bottom of this. At the least they seem to care and are working to get this issue solved. Sounds like a massive lack of communication from on high.
Be sure to ask your dealer to hook you up with enough FordPass Rewards points when you purchase- it seems like this is how my dealer is going to accommodate me.
Has anyone else run into this?
