That gigantic single windshield wiper is going to be an issue in Winter months. The wiper motor will have to be pretty stout too.
Mercedes had a single wiper system for awhile in the late 80s. May not have been quite as big as this but I don’t think there were a lot of issues with it. The one I had worked fine in the winter.

sw engineering manager,
I've had my truck since December 1st. I've used the frunk maybe 8 times. I'm old, my kids are grown the backseat is almost always empty. the storage back there is bigger and more convenient than the frunk. the frunk is overrated. if they chopped off the frunk and made it more aerodynamic i'd be thrilled.
I would trade the entire frunk for a true 6'8" bed like classic 3/4 ton crew cabs have. Also, would love to have 400 lbs more payload in the bed instead of in the frunk.

Also, what Ford and Chevy understand in the 1/2 ton pickup market is that the huge crew-cab is really not for a "crew". Its for carting around a family with kids and all their stuff. A whole lot of 1/2 ton pickup crew-cabs are used as a family truckster alternative to an SUV or minivan.
The Cybertruck's tiny rear cabin is not going to be as nice for that usage.

i agree I don’t use it for the daily needs, what I love the frunk for is the camp chairs, picnic blankets, charger, and such that are always in the truck. Such a great thing and I hope they never remove it😊

Not so much the single part, but the length.

I love the frunk. Didn't really think I'd care when I got the truck. But it means that I don't need a tonneau cover or a bed box. Both of which are things that come with compromises and otherwise get in the way.

I'm not sure I could live with the short bed without the frunk.

I'd trade a foot of back seat for an extra foot of bed any day though.
