Just got off the phone with Ford to check if my VIN was available. Not only is it not available, the rep mentioned how they are very behind and that even though I have ordered the MY22 model, I was told to keep my eyes out for an email by mid to late August pushing my order to the MY23 model.

Easiest way to check for your VIN is to look at the HTML details on your order page at Ford.com. Instructions here for Safari browser, there are instructions for other browsers in some other posts I've seen.

Hi All,
First post. First night reservation and (supposedly) an 8/1 build date. At this point I have learned to not really care - I'm 2 years in on my Bronco reservation/order so getting the build date on the truck was surprising, but when I see it on the lot I will be convinced.

Yeah, given all of the other news, this is what I have been expecting. Though Wave 7 makes no sense in that context.

I am on the same boat. I had to trade in my Explorer and get the loan started. Locked in to the loan before the interest rates were raised by 3/4%. In the meantime, my truck has been in production for almost 15 days. Don't know how this production to built plays out. Don't know how often Ford updates the production and built records for the customers to see.
I have waited for my Mach E for 14 months to arrive. It looks like the same wait for the Lightning. I am patient enough. The wait will test most of us.
Hopefully this week should get my build date and will ship within two weeks.
Customer service is trying to be helpful but you get the same info I already know.
Patience a little bit longer.

Just to give you some variability in blend to delivery I’m 68 days. There’s just a few us in this time frame. My dealer has received 4 lightnings all blended after mine. Ouch.

though I’ve read similar stories for Mach e and bronco. One thing to wait for blend another to be blended and parked.

haven’t had an offer for my ice 150 don’t know if I’d part ways without knowing it’s on its way.

Update since yesterday.
last Thursday I saw my truck via ford pass move to this lot - don’t know where it was before as it was activated on the ride over

this morning I received my built notice.
69 days since blend
61 days since in production

i know I’m in small group with days in the 60’s - so hopefully the rest will be more in the average Days.

Embargoes do not apply to traffic already on the system. If you were on Ramp 59, your truck would be embargoed from entering the BNSF system. The reason for the embargo is congestion, including the rail yard your truck is sitting in. They can't eliminate congestion without moving the traffic during the embargo period.

Here is the new status on my merry go round truck that I have been waiting for. Per regional manager, he states that the visibility report is not accurate and my truck's last truck status that he can see is on 6/19 - Plant Quality. It left Mesquite on 6/18, so definitely was trailered back up to Michigan since it couldn't arrive that quickly by train. The ETA established on 6/19 was for delivery 7/01, but he thinks that could change. This info was dated 6/24 that he got. He also said that he will get a new freight verify report tomorrow, and it should contain any changes to my truck on it.

If the truck did indeed get the QC issues fixed on 6/19, maybe it is already on the road part of the way down here and it will come by 7/01. That would be great and just in time for the long weekend coming up. Hopefully tomorrow I will have a better status once the regional manager gets the update.
