Anyone have suggestions ? Should I wait and get after market or change my order at dealership and expect a delay?

I thought bed liners were causing delays?

I don’t think anyone has verified whether bedliners are delaying Lightnings. Ford seems to be prioritizing Lightning for low availability parts so it may be delaying ICE F-150 but not Lightning.

My LineX quote says $599, +200 if I want the Premium with UV protection, and +$350 for colors other than black which include the UV protection.

Similar to mine. I reached out for a quote to my local place and they said $600 for standard and $725 for the premium plus tax. What’s another $125, eh?

I don't plan on keeping my new truck long enough to worry about UV protection...it will be the standard drive it for three years and see what new toys are out there ;)

I will be trading in my 2019 Sierra Denali (which may cross 12,000 miles in the next week or so) for the Lightning.

How about DIY spray on?
Not sure how much the material cost is, but I bet you'd be well over 50% once you factor in your time for the whole project (prep & spray). Also, check to see if you need a special applicator to apply the Liner material itself. A couple hundred more would be worth the warranty and guarantee it gets done right!

Does no one else besides me prefer a bed mat to the bed liner? My Raptor is the first truck I have that has a liner (factory as far as I can tell) and I really don't like it. It is much slicker than the mat and stuff just slides around in the back.

Just going for the mat (with tonneau cover) for my Lightning - will order it directly from the dealer to keep it out of the purchase transaction.

I’m with you, I will go with the tonneau & mat combo.

Your dealer should be able to make the change. It is an added step after production, so would not affect the build date, just maybe the ship date.
Instead of speculation, the dealers have a weekly listing of constrained options for all models. If ford is not listing spray liner as constrained for lightning, you don't have to worry.

I have the factory spray liner on my superduty, it's thinner feeling than the linex I had on the previous truck, but functional. I have it ordered on my lightning, which has a 5/16 build date.
