USA made shorty antenna company.

Here is my antenna and as mentioned above, the bottom is ~⅛" to big overall (~1/16" overhang all around). Not huge, but still a minor annoyance.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Antenna Masts RUS. They are a Wisconsin company that manufacturers in the USA. I bought one of their shorty rubber antennas and have been very happy.

USA made? Sorry I seriously doubt it, or i don't believe it.

I have no problem to buy from it since price is similar to other brand, but, I believe this guy just bought from another country and put them in separate package. Anyone work in or familiar with supply chain would know this. They just place their order in another country.

The item description is a bit misleading. I don’t see a claim that the entire item is made in the USA - only the steel threads.

Just to confirm, the Lightning antenna has no correlation with the 4G hotspot, key fob/remote start range, correct?

I don't wanna swap it only to find out in winter months that i'm out of rang and can't remote start the truck or lock/unlock.

Would love to know your experience. Tired of the "thud-thud-thud" of the factory antenna's height on the garage door.

I may be the outlier but I like the longer antennae. One reason for its length and position is to help with low obstacles. If you are ever in a parking garage and your long antennae hits the “ceiling / beams”. Beware.

Unless of course you are the worlds greatest backer upper and then the long antennae is like a too late lite on your dash.

I bought the "stubby" by cravenspeed. I don't have the HD radio (which I didn't know about, another thing I figured was standard but was not on the XLT... Ford is not making me a happy first time customer with these not being standard). So far works fine.
