Ok, first day driving it to/from work. On the way home, stuck in traffic from a lane closure and stopped to pick up fast food on the way home. Was in the truck for over an hour. I noticed my lower back was starting to ache a little so I went to increase the lumbar only to discover it was already at the max. Odd, as it didn't exactly feel like there was much support at all. I decreased it to the min, then back to max. I cannot tell a difference between the two. Where is the support supposed to be on the seat? Is it more of a middle back location? I don't know if it's just me or if it actually isn't doing anything. It's my only gripe so far, loving everything else.

You must have something wrong with your seat. If I have the lumbar at the max in my Lariat it hurts. I usually have mine all the way retracted. It's above your hips in the lower back.

I'm simultaneously happy and sad if that's the case. Happy, as the curve in my spine is such that I need significant lumbar support (I have to have a pillow on plane seats or it's agony). But sad at the thought of having to take it into the dealership. At least it seams like it should be a more straightforward repair.

I was talking to my brother about this just now and he suggested checking out the passenger seat to see if it's any different. If I can feel it, I know the driver is broken. If not, maybe both are? Seems either way I'll be giving the service center a call tomorrow. Good to know that it should be noticeable though, I was going crazy on the way home trying to figure out where it was :D

I had a loose seat connection in my passenger seat so the lumbar adjustment would not work, was a quick fix by the service department

Sat in the passenger seat, lumbar works great so it's definitely broke on the driver's side. I called the dealer last night. They couldn't transfer me to the service center because they are short staffed. The receptionist took a message and said I should get a call back today. Anyone want to place bets on how long before I get in? :)

The fact they couldn’t pick up the phone means one of two things: 1. Everyone is working diligently & hard for customers and you’ll get your turn.
2. If they can’t even answer the phone, there’s no way in hell they have time to work on your truck.
