I have water in three lights and I'm guessing I'm not alone. My plan is to have them replaced when I take care of the LVB CSP.

Is anyone aware of a TSB for water in lights?

I posted about this over the summer. I had it in my Frunk lights. Was told there's a drain path behind there and the seals on the lights were bad so took in moisture. Make sure they check the Frunk push button switch when they replace them. Mine had gotten corroded from the water going through there and stopped working immediately after they fixed the lights. I thought they pinched a wire but they showed me the back of the switch which was in bad shape from the water. Had to splice in a new harness and switch. Good luck, was a pretty quick job overall.

Thanks! Your thread is probably where I got the idea to look at the frunk lights. I've been actively ignoring the problem but the thread yesterday made me think of it again.

I thought I remember seeing something in the owner's manual about water in the lights. Unless it was in one of my other vehicle owner's manuals I'm getting confused with? I'm on a mission now to find it. if I do I will post here.

I have the EXACT same issue in my tail lights- condensation. Thought it was just me.

I’ve had one frunk light replaced due to water intrusion.

I can't believe how much of a problem this appears to be.

As much as I am against frivolous recalls, I'm all for one for the tail-lights. I mean, compared to the light-bar recall( which was considered a safety issue) recalling tail-lights is justifiable under the safety flag too if they fail(and mine did) to blink as a result of the moisture.

The funny thing is, I bought a FORD because, well, FORD's been making trucks for quite some time now - you'd think they know how to make a turn signal waterproof by now :)

In any event, glad warranty covered it, but a little sad to see others with the same issue.

I have condensation in the left twilight and backup light. I just got the truck on Friday, and will see what Ford has to say about it tomorrow.

Update: I finally got around to taking my truck to the dealership but when I checked the lights they were all dry and functional. No big deal, I guess.

My original post was in March. My guess is any water intrusion wasn't able to evaporate out over the cold winter months but the warm summer did the trick. My truck lives outside.
