Can someone please tell me how to tell what BC software my truck is on? I still can’t change lanes using turn signal.
23 Lariet owned since Aug/23. Thanks
Then you have 1.0.

Feel lucky if your Apple Car Play works every time you get in
Gotta control what you can - I gave up on wireless CarPlay. I reset my phone turning wireless CarPlay off. I plug in each time I get in the truck and got rid of that frustration.

Ford has stated 1.5 requires more processing power implying modules are different. Thus we will never get 1.5.
Can you link the info for 1.5 needing different hardware?
Ford has implied many things that we know on the forums is straight BS, and if they implied this, then we can add this to the dumpster fire of misinformation they put out there. The config to enable auto lane change actually already exists within the related modules, but the software itself does not contain the event to be enabled. I am 99% sure that our current hardware supports BC 1.5.
We know that so far the 2025 Mach-E is the first vehicle to get BC 1.5. So those guys have discussed this. For example, there is this video from the 2024 LA Auto show where a YouTuber gets a tour of the 2025 Mach-E from a Ford employee. He discusses the new cluster graphics and then says Ford made a lot of hardware improvements on the 2025 Mach-E specifically in the "DAS" systems that enabled the implementation of BC 1.5 (DAS - Driver Assistance System). Continual hardware improvement.
Video cued up to 27:30 where they discuss. My take from his comments is you may get some of the graphics but not BC 1.5. And I think that's why only the Mach-E is getting it. The F-150's, Expeditions likely did not get the DAS 2.1 system that the Mach-E now has.

None that I remember

No codes that I can see.
Cool, so this supports what others have said recently that it's on a slow-roll out process to the general population, I just would like to see all the 2022's get it first, then move to the 23's and subsequently the 24's

Was there any codes after clicking the "Read more" below the alert title & date?
Wesley appears to have gotten the EA release of BC 1.4 based on install date. I've copied below what shows on a Ford account.

One quirk with "Read More" is that it only shows the first 40 or so lines then cuts off (this had long release notes). So the bottom line that shows actual update code is cut off. You can only see that in FordPass.

I'll DM you another piece of info.

Interesting indeed, but I stick to my story on this. lol I guess time will prove me right or wrong eventually. Below is the info for a pre-production 2025 Mach E with BC. The IPMA software states ABE version which at first glance, it seems like it is older than what we have with BBC:

Ford F-150 Lightning Will I get Blue Cruise 1.5 1739545450821-a5

However, what is exciting here is that both the part number for the IPMA and the file name for the strategy start with the letter T which indicates a 2026 part number. Once we can get our hands on the files, you better believe there will be some experimenting going on on my driveway.

It seems like Mach-E is the BC darling right now. And they updated other things in the 2025 like motors - don't know if they're better or just cheaper ;) - need to spend more time on the Mach-E forum.

BTW did you mean to say you had a pre-production 2025 instead of 2024?

If it's a 2025 with a new part year then that does point to a new generation of modules, right?

Edit: Sorry...read that wrong. I did mean a 2025. Fixed my post.
