Do you have links to the parts list? Where did you tap in for power as I see both USBs are still open. This looks very clean. Would love to do this to my truck.
I used a standard MagSafe charger. Ordered a 2.5inch flush mount from Etsy. Removed the cubby which is a pain because you have to first remove dash parts around the radio and the AC controls. I found a YouTube video on that. Removed the cubby. There are for screws holding it in 2 in front and 2 behind the sliding door. Those are hard to see. The sliding door comes out after those 4 screws are out then the cubby is held in by clips. Drilled a 2.5 inch hole in the cubby and installed the MagSafe and flush mount. For power I installed a usb socket in the back of the console. The one I got enabled quick charge.I debated wiring it to the back 12 volt outlet but ended up running power from the fuse box in the passenger kick panel. The magsafe wire is run through the console and plugged into the socket. Had to drill a small hole in the Console storage to get the MagSafe wire inside to plug it in. The attached picture shows where the socket is installed. You can see the MagSafe charger plugged into it. You could really put it anywhere, I just thought the back would be easy to access for another usb accessory if needed. Below are the parts I used.

Can you post the YouTube video that removes the cubby?
This will get you the first steps. Don’t worry about the stuff after about 4:45 in the video. You don’t need to remove the radio. What’s left after you do the things in the video is remove the cup holders and shifter trim. This gets you to the cubby and door which has the 4 screws. Did not find any videos on that. Just kind of winged it. If I have to get back in there I will video it.

Thank you again @Knickell for posting. Received my truck on Friday and just added this setup. Works perfect with wireless CarPlay and lets me close the lid to satisfy the OCD.

I thought about installing this "mod" in my truck but when I read the manufacturer manual, I was a little worried about the temperature range that is recommended.

I'm pretty sure it will get hotter the 104F at least down here in SC during the summer.
At least in the past there were histories about power banks/batteries catching fire.

Posted this in another thread, but I took the dove tail slots for the weird phone holder slots in the center console and 3d printed a holder to put a magsafe charger there. Don't have any pictures right now of the current one, I prototyped in this clear one. Ended up changing the cable to come out the side, cleaned up the cable, and made it black, but general idea below:

21 ford Bronco 2015 F150. Buying 2022 F150 Lariat

I've been meaning to do this since I picked up my F-150. I think its nonsense how some Lariats can top $75,000, and XLTs and XL can easily crest $50,000 and somehow we are blocked out of having the wireless charging option that is afforded to the King Ranch, Platinum, and Limited trims.

Well, friends, I've found a pretty good, if not better, alternative for us lowly Lariat lovers who want a wireless phone charging option for their trucks.

Here is what I did to combat Ford's cost cutting:

I have used Anker phone related products in the past, and have had pretty good luck with them. Way back in October when I was in the process of placing my order, I was considering buying one of their wireless charging pads for the truck. since that time, it looks like Anker has released a smaller, more powerful model.

I picked up the Anker PowerWave Base Pad. This item seems extremely well thought out especially for purposes of being used in the F-150s. The top and bottom surfaces have a rubber texture to better grip onto the phone as well as the surface it is placed on.

The device also has vents along the sides on the bottom to help with cooling, and mitigate overheating.

Here is a quick look at what comes in the box:

The Anker PowerWave is also able to charge through normal phone cases up to five millimeters thick.

I placed the PowerWave in the storage cubby directly underneath the Productivity Screen and climate controls. I also purchased a six inch USB to Micro USB cable to plug into the truck's USB port to run power to the PowerWave. I elected to get a ninety degree angle cable so it sits more flush with the device and saves as much of the cubby space as possible.

Here are a few pictures of it installed in the truck:

When I plugged an Apple Wireless Charger into that USB-C port, I got an error, saying to unplug it, I guess it was drawing too much power. I ran the cord from the charger down the passenger side of the shift console in the the center console and plugged it into the USB-C port in there, it works great.
