My guess... It will launch sometime during business hours so Ford can address any problems. Total guess tho.

I imagine we are still within the deployment window so everything isn't live yet.
Then we will overload and crash their system.

I just built a Lariat extended. Only added the extended range battery, which is a package with options like moon roof, etc. Whopping $80,083!!!!!! Standard range? No moon roof allowed. I’m out. Ford screwed us on this. No freaking way I’ll spend $80k for limited range.

$92,914 for a Platinum with ONLY adding max recline seats. This is asinine. All for a pittance of range. I can’t see the Lightning taking the world by storm. ICE’s are here to stay.

I did the same thing, but I thought that package was actually a pretty good value. If you figure $7k for the ER battery, then you are getting blue cruise, PAAK, 2nd row heated seats, the tow tech package and the moonroof for $3k!

Correction-- $10k for the ER battery. Thats what it costs to add it on the XLT.

Pro built as expected with pricing around what I figured.

But XLT extended range... 10k over my expectations.

Really pro is the only worthwhile option for me.

An XLT extended range at 74k is terrible. That's a fully equipped rivian and it has waaaaaaaaay more features. And charges a lot faster.
