Yes, it is. My truck is a brand new 2022 F-150 model and I see the same in my APIM info as well@Jesse-Infotainment or @iceman77, APIM Lines - DID F12A, and DID F0E8, only shows ML3T- and nothing else. Is this normal?
@iceman77 Thank you for clearing that up.Yes, it is. My truck is a brand new 2022 F-150 model and I see the same in my APIM info as well
It's a little more involved than just kicking it out of that state. I did this back in December when this procedure first popped up briefly in FRDS.Nope, this is just a “fastboot” procedure to kick your APIM out of the failed 1.7.1 OTA purgatory. Once done, you need to proceed normally with FDRS and Mongoose cable to update your APIM. If you have a USB flash drive with your APIM update ready, you don’t need FDRS to kick off your update. Just insert your USB flash drive while your ignition is KOER, it should kick of within few minutes
@ENG430 No SW Updates show up on your vin.Dear can any one check my vin and see if I still have an update.
I just received a sms from dealer that my car is READY to pick up.

yeah, this is (to me) the scariest outcome of all this: disrupting a data store or application that can't just be dropped back on via FDRS.It's a little more involved than just kicking it out of that state. I did this back in December when this procedure first popped up briefly in FRDS.
It installs a base image on the APIM and then you use the USB to install the other items like voice, maps, etc.
Hopefully, they ironed out the issues because mine didn't install the Map application because Ford thought it was already updated so I was screwed and had to send my APIM to Jesse
Tried this a couple times to no avail. Updated everything else except APIM. Adapters on order for TSB.Try logging into FDRS with the flash drive in the USB port and running a self test on the APIM.
Oh that's a big one! I haven't driven my truck with my TT since I did all my updates but I'm looking forward to not getting that error message! Some moderately unrelated items:
- all of the updates seems to fix the issue with the "trailer disconnected" alarm happening on certain trailers with LED lights.
Mine is currently failingTried this a couple times to no avail. Updated everything else except APIM. Adapters on order for TSB.
