Details missing from my F150 Lightning Reservation Page...should I be worried?

I was late to the F150 Lightning party with a mid-June 2021 reservation. Made reservation with closest dealer to me, General manager and sales manager both assured me MSRP with NO ADM or add ons. However, although they were initially receptive....over the past few months they have been avoiding my phone calls and emails. They are flat out ignoring my request for a courtesy call. So I decided to switch dealers to another local dealer that was highly recommended. The new dealer returned my phone call promptly and have been friendly to deal with...also selling at MSRP.

So I called Ford and made the switch. I recived a notice from Ford(auto email) saying my reservation had been changed. When I log into Ford,com account I see the reservation page with the reservation date and number. However, when I click on the "view" button where the details normally come up(the dealers name, deposit amount, the process bubbles "reservation-->order--->prodeuction" etc. the page doesn't load. It gives an error saying "There was an error loading this page".

Should I be worried? I mean I see the main reservation page is still there with the date and number so I feel sure it wasn't dropped..but not seeing the details so I can't confirm those to be correct.

(The salesperson at the new dealer says he can "see" my reservation on his end...I just don't want to miss out on a notification should the stars align and gods shine down on me for a last minute order//allocation).

When you change to a different reservation dealer you should have seen your $100 refunded by the original dealer.

Your reservation is still good with the new dealer and your place in line will be determined by other customers in timestamp line....

I'd call Ford customer service and ask if they can update your reservation page.

They will not update. You have to monitor thru the back door. I have been in the same leaky boat since December and Ford told me to just ask the dealer for updates - fat chance. :)

How did you monitor.. just keep in touch with your salesperson?

When you were approved to order..did it show up on you ford.com site? Did you get an email..both?

My salesmen and dealer are like babes in the woods. I have to lead and educate therm like kindergardeners.

I check often at:
https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=XXXXXXXX

where XXXXXXXX = your Reservation#

It does not give complete info but better than nothing and Ford does update it.

I seldom receive emails (even no spam).
The only emails from Ford were received a day late to order, completed order, but none on production date.

I do have a 6-13-22 (from 2-4-22 Order Date) production date but I got that using hacker tool on my manage page. Then I email my dealer and told him and he emailed me back "Congrats".

It worked for me. First time it added a few digits before my res #, once I corrected, it worked. But that is same screen I access when logging into ford account then choosing reservation.

I am having issues ordering too. I actually have a case number with Ford because I was invited to order in this last wave but needed to change my dealership. Ever since I called and had it changed last week trying to order online just gives me an error. Apparently it is a known issue their IT team is seeing and working on. I am going to try contacting the new dealer to see if they have any ability to put the order in as there is the deadline I need to worry about.

The backdoor reservation link is also giving me errors too. I assume they are all tied together in some way.

Seems silly that it is this hard to give a company $80,000...

Just want to make sure I'm open for consideration when Ford starts the cleanup wave to finish 2022 MY.

My only worry is timing, since I am in wave 6 I only have until 4/29 to finalize my order, which I can't do online. :|

To get the backdoor tracker to work you have to be logged on to your Ford account. If I input my backdoor link https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=108xxxxx (where xxxxx are the last five digits of my reservation number) then it will prompt me to logon if I am not logged in already. If you are getting an error instead of a result, I would suggest calling Ford customer service and confirming your reservation number.

Edit: The "view" link on Lightning reservations in your Ford account takes you directly to this "backdoor tracker". I think the reason it got the name "backdoor tracker" is that Bronco reservations do not give you the View link. They just say "contact dealer". But you can use the backdoor tracker on a Bronco reservation and see the details just like the Lightning view.
