Yeah, the pics are just grabbed off the internet by Larry to make the video. I think it's possible that a dealer got a mannequin that he let someone take out to test the towing capabilities. We have seen pictures of mannequins arriving at dealerships posted here...

I believe that Larry was just conjecturing with the PRO model example. Using random thoughts like Farley said Pro's were going to be delivered first therefore it must be a Pro model. And therefore it would only have 230 miles of range. And if it didn't have a max trailer tow package then it would only be rated for 5000 pounds.

Maybe someone took that Canadian Platinum for a joy ride yesterday. Probably only came from the factory with 1/8 of a tank of electrons. Oh wait, I'm the one conjecturing now.

even IF the claim was true, the whole point of the intelligent range system is to prevent winding up stranded without a charge. It seems like you’d actually have to try really hard to run out of charge prematurely based on all the stuff they put on these vehicles.

Also, I’m pretty sure my 2016 2.7 ecoboost wouldn’t make it very far towing 8k lbs….

They would certainly tow with it, but its probaly not this week, if they do it's probably for a limited time.

They went to a media event, so everyone shares trucks and has limited time with it.

Eventually they'll get their hands on one that they can have for a few days and test it to death.
