There is more to this story than we will ever know. We have a spreadsheet with 354 trucks on it. Of those 354 trucks 156 are dealer mannequins, the other 185 are special orders. These numbers won't add up to 354 because we have about 37 trucks that the window sticker problems, or no blend date yet. Of those there are only 11 that have a built date on them. A few of them have it checked which means that it has shipped, but not all of the 11. And the crazy part of all this is that these trucks are all over the place on the build dates. A few of those 11 were built in the first early dates, but they range from 3/16 to 5/2 for those 11 built trucks. Of those 11, only 2 are special orders.
Some would say they pull from the front, or first trucks built are first ones out. This view of our 11 out of the total 354 we can see, are in the front back and middle. Another interesting stat, of the 354 trucks, 284 of them are built. Most of those 156 mannequins are built from 3/16 to 5/4, with a small amount of special orders in April. Statistically speaking, at least 85% of those trucks built in March and April were dealer mannequins. And that is just what we can see. There are a lot more dealer orders and special orders that we have no visibility on, but I think we can draw a good comparison.
I think it is highly probable that their are more than 11 trucks shipped out of the ones we have visibility on, but the tracker hasn't been updated properly. If you go and search the Bronco forums, you will find a lot of cases where dealer received vehicles but the tracker never updated past the Produced date. I am not saying this to say all these trucks have shipped. Based on only 2 out of 11 are special orders, there may be mostly dealer mannequins out there on the road instead of a lot of special orders.
