I’ve gotten Ford emails, and I’m a fleet customer, so I pester them all the time.

Update: Vehicle Visibility report still shows chip hold.

I though that someone had to affirmatively approve the activation from inside the vehicle. If my truck is just sitting in a lot why would some be in the truck to approve.

I love that it is approved but this entire process just seems so labor intensive. The fact that they are storing vehicles with no chips, moving them, tracking them for completion, moving back to shipping seems like a lot of steps.

but it is still more efficient to keep sending them straight from the line to shipping.
Coming from a 4/20 blend and waiting.

Just reached out to ford chat to see if any updates myself and here is what i got from the chat.

"it will arrive between June 28th to July 5th, 2022. and the vehicle is located in New Boston, MI. Is there anything else I can assist with you today?

so it "shipped" 2 weeks ago but still sitting in the rail yard in Detroit! i was hoping when i saw some local dealers get there Mannequins that maybe mine was on the same train! unfortunately not!

I called Ford today to see if they had any updates, and they said it was definitely in transit, not on chip hold, and was listed in their system as being at:

Ramp 5M-New Boston-MI

On a Rail Car # TTGX 255081

I googled with that info and found it was a CSX train.

I called the CSX hotline (from a thread I found on this site) at 1-800-235-2352

And that CSX automated system let me enter the rail car information,
and gave me the update that it had:

Arrived at Walbridge OH at 12am today,

And was on its way eastward and was expected to

Arrive at Selkirk, NY at 11am on June 26th.


So, that’s at least progress!

I called Ford today and got the same old canned answer. " Your truck is in Production and at the Rouge Plant. The operator told me to contact my dealer..........What a joke, the dealer knows less than me. Seems like the dealership should be on Fords ass considering they have not received a mannequin yet. This Limbo crap is getting real old.
