I understand all that. Its not about complexities is the fact that trucks built after mine are already shipped or delivered, Its about loan rates going to go up even more and I cant get a single explanation of whats going on with the truck. There could be something wrong with it and it may take another 6 months for delivery. I would like to know so I can plan accordingly.Not to dismiss your frustrations, but bold of you to assume GM or - even more so - RAM will introduce their pickups with no hiccups and show Ford how it's done. I expect equal shenanigans, and you should too.
People been underestimating the complexities of a BEV ramp-up for years now, and the amount of self-imagined narratives already online related to the Chevy truck EV is worthy of a good head shake. This is from the company that literally was selling exploding cars (yes, new battery supplier - but the point stands), given this much cachet before they even produce 1 truck....
I've got a day 1 order here, with the Cybertruck, and the Chevy - I have no brand loyalty. Make a good product, and we'll see!
