Not to dismiss your frustrations, but bold of you to assume GM or - even more so - RAM will introduce their pickups with no hiccups and show Ford how it's done. I expect equal shenanigans, and you should too.

People been underestimating the complexities of a BEV ramp-up for years now, and the amount of self-imagined narratives already online related to the Chevy truck EV is worthy of a good head shake. This is from the company that literally was selling exploding cars (yes, new battery supplier - but the point stands), given this much cachet before they even produce 1 truck....

I've got a day 1 order here, with the Cybertruck, and the Chevy - I have no brand loyalty. Make a good product, and we'll see!
I understand all that. Its not about complexities is the fact that trucks built after mine are already shipped or delivered, Its about loan rates going to go up even more and I cant get a single explanation of whats going on with the truck. There could be something wrong with it and it may take another 6 months for delivery. I would like to know so I can plan accordingly.

I’m in the last of the 5/23 build and disappointed a little, but definitely not worried. If there are things wrong with the Lightning they will be under warranty and Ford isn’t going anywhere. Being through a long process to get my Bronco from build week to delivery, it was definitely worth it. I’m thinking it will be the same for the Lightning and hoping too.

Another load of dealer BS and why dealers need to be sent packing. Most CU's rates here are the same for used as new. I'd refinance it /pay it off within days. I believe their loans require 30 to 60 days for the dealer to make his money. They are making 10% off the truck already.

Lol do the dealer financing and then refi the next day. They will lose any incentives they would have got.

Whoa, just got an update - truck now shows "Waiting for Pickup" along with other regular non-Lightning vehicles, at the local Rolla Ramp pickup area, showing destination to dealership (looking at United Road Logistics site)

Last few times, no batch of cars sat "Waiting for Pickup" for more than half a day, so I'm guessing if this is truly accurate, it'll arrive at my dealership tonight or tomorrow. If accurate....big if....it will significantly beat my 7/17-23 estimate I got from them!

And I now have a Railcar Number from Canadian National Railways! Trying this call process to see if I can get info from an agent.. Per a post on Bronco forums I saw..
I shipped yesterday and was able to get status info from the 1-800 phone automated tracking services for both CSX (receiving at Toledo, OH) and UP (trip east of the Mississippi River to Oregon), even though CN still has it in the Toledo, OH rail yard. CN does not have a auto phone tracer that I can find…you have to be a customer to access their online tracking tools…..

I shipped yesterday as well and when I called my dealer this morning they said that it has CN Rail car number, however they are no longer able to track them because they are not a CN customer. If anyone knows a way around this, it would be very helpful at this point.

Um, Canadian National? Looks like your truck is headed the wrong way, bud.

Welp I posted an hour ago that it was waiting for pickup nearby to my dealership and now all vehicles on that batch show "Cancelled" - ha!

Okay I give up trying to make sense, just gotta be patient.

Late to the party… I have a 5/23 Production week. Who do I give my VIN/info to, to add to the tracking spreadsheet?

I’m still showing “In Production” on the Ford website. I have connected the VIN to FordPass App but have the “can’t connect to the vehicle until I take delivery” message.

Although CN doesn’t offer a non customer tracking tool that aI can find, you can get your tracking info from the rail carrier CN will be handing it off to: CSX, BN or UP through their automated phone tracking tools……

There is a thread somewhere on this forum that will walk you through the steps…I copied them into my notes…can’t quote the thread……
