I posted a longer, ranty version of this on another thread but here's my update for this morning.

My original delivery date of 7/9 - 7/15 has been pushed back to 7/22 - 7/28, this is the third push back. I spoke with Ford chat today and they said it is still in Blue Island, IL and set for delivery by 7/28 but they have also said a bunch of other dates in the past. They said there is no hold, no recall and really had no other information. They gave me the same railcar number from a month ago and when I called Union Pacific today, the machine now says the status is empty.

No idea when it will really come in at this point. They just keep kicking the can down the road for no apparent reason. Communication is key and Ford is definitely lacking in it.

I'm about to sell my other truck since I don't want to juggle two for no reason. I'm glad I didn't sell it at the beginning of the month thinking my truck would actually be on time. I wonder if Ford would give me a loaner until the new truck comes in . That would be great PR but it needs to be special like the Lightning. Maybe a Raptor or at the very least a Tremor.

Hey @run4tacos were you able to confirm that yours is in Richmond? I hope mine is too but at this point I have no idea. I can see my truck on the United Road website and it shows that it will be trucked over from Richmond. But, after speaking to a guy at United Road, he said they may no even have the truck or be transporting it. Every VIN enters their system automatically even if they won't be the ones to transport it.

So the dealer, Ford Chat and I had every indication that the truck was in Richmond. Now according to my dealer it's still in Richmond and Ford Chat says it's moved back to Flat Rock, MI as of 7/17

Mine might have gone back as well. Yesterday the chat said we were back in IL. Someone denied my FordPass yesterday so maybe it’s on its way back. Lol

UP tracking of my rail car now says “Empty, Departed, 7/21 4PM”. No idea what that means and it doesn’t give a location.

Oh snap! Just got off the Ford chat and this is the first time I have them tell me the vehicle is not in Blue Island! Oh my gosh, OMG, OMG!!! No call from the dealer yet.

It was a HOT night for riding last evening, as I was heading home from a ride through Newport, stopped at the dealership to check on @hag911 truck, they better get this PDI done ASAP, The Lightnings blue goes nicely with my StreetGlide !!
