The "Backdoor tracker" really isn't a Backdoor with the Lightning reservations and orders as you get the "View" option which navigates you to the https://www.ford.com/buy/manage.html?reservationId=xxxxxxxx screen where xxxxxxxx is your reservation/order number.
Then you need to get to that stage by monitoring your personal order page, once you have a build week, then follow the previously mentioned steps
Any way to get the 4 digit order number other than through your dealer? The Bronco reservation does not provide that link and instead has "Contact Dealer" which just gives you your dealers info. But you can use the link above and insert your Bronco reservation number to access the same screen. Hence the "backdoor tracker" because you needed to know the HTTP link.
Regarding Build date there are a couple of other trackers that can be used. First you must have an order and not just a reservation. Second your Lightning needs to be scheduled for production and you must have the VIN and know the 4 character DORA order number the dealer assigned for your order. You can then use one of these links

to determine your build status. These tracker are a bit maddening as they are finicky and only work maybe 50% of the time.
If you have a VIN and a Window sticker then you can use

where you insert your vin# after the = The window sticker will give you your blend date which is when it is planned on starting the process of rolling down the assembly line.
It will be on your window sticker once it's viewable, until then there is not much to see or track on the SHOP or ORDERTRACK sites, this is my order number

I'm learning as I go here, but what you stated makes sense, given past history, they might do another blast of build weeks in the first or second week of August, filling remaining slots for late August and all of September, once done, does not make sense to shift folks around as they are closing in end of production for MY22 week starting 10/3
