anyone still waiting for a build week lol
As noted above .... many are waiting!!
I hope we see a large batch get assignments for the remaining weeks of September, those who don't see a build week will be converted to MY2023 with price protection via a private offer letter, don't panic folks!!!!

With all the Lariats on that list it makes you wonder why they created a seventh wave.
Does anyone know if the production capacity expansion during the summer break met it's goals? I checked the 8/15 build week and they have 843 Lightnings scheduled. Is that on target with what Ford planned or is it significantly behind capacity?

Currently this forum has VIN's identified up to G14611. At approximately 850 Lightnings per week, how many more new VIN's can they add to the already planned schedule? Maybe a thousand or two? 2023 Job 1 is scheduled for 10/10 so not many open weeks for scheduling left.

If the capacity is on target the perhaps this alternate thought? The 2023 order waves open up this week to PRO extenders and then two weeks later to XLT extenders. If Ford wanted to have a bunch of 2022 orders for Lariats ready to go for 2023 production but give time for PRO and XLT extenders to order then allow for a Wave 7 some of which can be built in 2022 but some of which will be converted to 2023 models and ready to roll down the production line alongside the PRO's and XLT's.
After all, they'll be building 2023 PRO's and XLT's all year long but only taking orders for them in September.

There will be 26 weeks of 2022 Lightning production. The first 13 weeks produced 6440 Lightnings.

The last 13 weeks, the projections have almost double that with 11,592 more Lightnings? Is the gain of 38 per week simply based on the delta between the 8/8 and 8/15 weeks? Or, is there more inside information? This projection would mean there are still 3,330 more 2022 VIN's to be released.

If the remining build weeks average 843 Lightnings instead of the projected 38 gain per week, that is 1,000 fewer Lightnings. But, that would still mean 2,350 more Lightning VIN's to be released.
