I just chatted with Ford and my ETA has now moved from 9/2-9/9 to 9/18-9/24. I am still on a chip hold and the ETA is for when it will be built. The last agent told me that he dates they were giving me were for when it would arrive at the dealer. None of the answers I've received have been consistent with previous answers.
Ford could really do a better job of communicating with their customer. It's not just that I'm excited to get my truck, but my personal schedule, financing, and selling existing vehicle are all things that are effected by knowing when my order will be delivered. Needless to say, I'm weary of the process.

I got an email that my order's dealership was sold as is under new management and they will be refunding my deposit though it won't affect my reservation. No idea what all that means. And it's no longer in my ford.com account, only a message that the dealership currently doesn't take online orders but my order is still good and to contact the dealership to complete my order. On the order tracking\status page it's still there and my window sticker is still available.

I'm trying to channel my disappointment toward cleaning the garage to make room for "Blue Thunder". Thankfully it is 20 feet wide by 24 feet deep, but where did all this junk come from. hahaha... If i just had a pickup to haul it away...

Got a new ETA from Ford:

"I see the estimated date of arrival is October 7th. However, once in Transit this may reflect a different final estimated date."

It moved back by 10 days. Could be worse.

This has happened before, you will get it from the new dealers, keep any eye on the public trackers
