I bought the extended range lariat and when I picked it up 6 weeks ago it read 321. Now 100% is between 260-270. Ford cannot tell me why. Sales person has told me he has escalated it but no one at the dealership can tell me anything at this point.

It's colder now. Range drops. It's an estimate. There's almost certainly nothing wrong with your vehicle.

I'm sure excited for November through February where these threads will be weekly like on the Mach e forums.

It’s been in the 90s since I bought it. No cold weather here in Texas. I hope you’re right about it being okay. I need 320 miles to make this work out so starting out disappointed. My wife has had her Mach-e for over a year and has never seen this.

What's your driving mix? If your driving 70% typical Texas 80 on the interstate then your right where I'd expect you to be. 1.9-2.0 with a 134 kWh would put you right in that range.

I'll admit I made an assumption about the weather.

270ish is probably about right if you're driving mostly highway. If you're driving more than that in a day on highways, you might need to top off at a fast charger. It could also just be the GOM being pessimistic; a known phenomenon.

Around town you'll likely exceed 320. Unless you drive like me, that is.

My mach e is rated at 260 and I get like 220 going 70 on the highway in ideal conditions. Around town, a bit over 300. 20% less in winter.

I actually get less than 270 in reality because I do mostly drive highway. What has me curious is why it will post 270 on a full charge. My thought process is it should at least say 320 on 100% at the beginning of my day, even if I don’t actually get close to that. The last time it said 271 I actually got about 230 when I ran it down to almost zero.

If you do mostly highway driving, you will never see 320 miles on a full charge.

Highway mileage is usually around 2mi/kWh st 70mph. 2mi/kWh x 131kWh battery = 262 miles. That is where your range estimate is coming from. The truck is using your past driving habits to guess on the range you will see.

Start driving less highway, and your range estimate will be higher at full charge.

The GoM (range guess o meter) takes your previous driving history into account when calculating range on a full charge. So if you are showing something like 2.1 miles per KWh on your trip meter then it will basically be taking an average like that times your 131 KWh battery and come up with 270 miles of range on a full charge.

I have the exact same problem. I've gone from 319 to 265. I'd love to hear what Ford tells you. My Lariat was manufactured in May and I took delivery in June. I've gone 4,200 miles with an average MPK of 2.3
