Alright 10/24ers. You are down to 15 non-delivered trucks, which would put yall at 46% delivered. We are still waiting on @jb56 to be built and just 5 of you have yet to shipped.

This is pretty frustrating. I tried the chat and they had no information. Perhaps I'll be one of those guys that gets a call from the dealer to come and get it when its still showing "awaiting shipment" or else it will be delayed until after the end of the year in which that kills the deal for me because of the $7,500 tax credit issue.

I just got back from test driving my truck and signing paperwork. I ended up getting the correct pricing after a bit of a battle, but my dealer got to the right answer in the end. They needed to get assurances from ford that they’d be reimbursed for the price protected $5k, and apparently they did. I still can’t believe it’s real. The truck is amazing, I’ll be bringing it home tomorrow. Good luck to all those still waiting

Update:
no eta/ no rail car :(

Ford Chat: We are able to confirm the order status of vehicle orders, for the VIN/order code provided, the status is shown as In Transit with a listed ETA that is pending update and a location of Ramp 5M, New Boston, MI. The basic vehicle order status may also be located here: https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking#/
There is no rail information shown with status.
I checked back with CSX this morning; the train my and your truck may or may not be on is ahead of schedule. It left Jacksonville at 3:44 a.m. today. It's scheduled to arrive in Orlando at 1:44 p.m. TODAY, two days ahead of the schedule they gave me just yesterday. Apparently Ford's not the only one having difficulty predicting the future.

Just bear in mind if our trucks are on that train, they still need to get transferred to a car hauler along with whatever other vehicles the dealership is receiving. Since it's Mullinax I assume it'll be a full hauler and probably on a timely schedule, but still, may not be there until tomorrow or even a few days. But yeah, I um, may have been looking at my own schedule.

I went down a rabbit hole about trains, thanks to members of this sub I won't name. It's my understanding the freight train carrying what could be both my and @markeyv's trucks is only allowed to traverse the metro Orlando length of track between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. weekdays, so as not to conflict with SunRail traffic. It's slated to arrive in Taft at 1:44 p.m., which would mean it will need pass through DeBary at the north end of that regulated rail corridor right on 1 p.m. Following the southbound SunRail schedule, it's pretty easy to estimate when the freight train will be in different areas, so I may or may not be planning to park next to the railroad line as it passes through Sanford at 1:10 p.m. to see this thing roll by.

Edit: I missed it because it arrived early. The rail car entered "constructively placed" status at 1 p.m., which means it's at the destination rail yard but hasn't been unloaded yet. Given how high demand is for freight shipping these days, I assume this will be a quick process.

Yeah, I'm up in Sanford, but closer to Lake Mary Station, so that's my go-to. Only reason I have to ever get out to Apopka is to pick up lumber or get an electric pickup truck.

Nice. I would imagine you will go into "Actual Placement" within 24 hours. After a certain point the railroad will start charging a fee so they are incentivized to get the railcars in and out as fast as possible.

I have to admit it's really annoying for the tracker and backdoor link to say "Scheduled for Production week of 10/24" and "in production" and to have a blend date of 10/27, but to have absolutely no information about what the status is. What good it for Ford to notify customers that they are "scheduled for production" and then give no updates of any kind for 6 weeks after that?
Ford Chat says they have no ETA for me at all and my dealership is ghosting me.

I know a lot of people here defend Ford, but after buying a Bronco and waiting for the Lightning, I feel like the only thing good about Ford is their product.
