BTW this update is available on FDRS as well as of last night. It brings you to Sync 640. So that's the new benchmark Sync version to mention if you're referring to the new vs. old interface. I've done this update this morning. Over 6.25 GB.

After waiting the weekend since I did the last APIM update it was pleasanty surprised to see another update for the APIM this evening. The update was a big one, coming in over at over 6GB in total. I have included some photos of the new layout. My opinion on the new layout: I like it! The fonts and logos seem more refined. When you press the camera button it looks like the images are more clear too.

I still would prefer NO Alexa icon. You hear that Ford?

Wait, you guys can't get rid of the Alexa button like us 12" screen owners can?

I don't have an Alexa button and I am using the new interface.....when that Alexa option was first released you had to sign up and then wait for the trial period to expire. A subsequent update (like a month later) made it so you could click the Alexa button the first time and if you didn't want to sign up you were given a menu where you could continue to sign up or tell it to "Dismiss forever" or words to that effect.

Whoops, I see they’ve moved it to a button towards the bottom. That sucks, even more of a distraction when trying to park. At least the tab is right near the top after you open the menu. C’mon Ford…

Was in a friends 2020 F150 yesterday. That physical button to turn on the camera is a huge pet peeve of mine in this truck. So difficult to get to a camera view. WHY????

As others have stated, in my Tesla, I can pin what ever I want. Not sure how much Amazon paid for the Alexa button...Considering Amazon has gutted that team, might be good to reuse the space.

The Amazon button most talk about is interesting. Lariat ER, Sync 4A, Alexa is active and works and I have no icon at the top of the screen, never been there since delivery in July.

I removed Alexa from my 15.5 screen

Never mind, Now I see that he's testing an advance release of the new screen layout, hopefully we will still be able to hide Alexa

I got it figured out. You can just click on the icon and it gives you 3 different options to choose from. The last option was to remove the icon and never display again.

I took the Alexa Icon off yesterday after reading this thread! Only reason I don’t use it is because CarPlay had to be disabled. But I do prefer Alexa to Siri for Home automation.

Duuude my Lariat ER is still stuck on the 3.5.4 update, not even the priority distance to empty improvement yet. Definitely not last to the party

(Hopefully by saying I’m always last to the party I’ll also get an OTA tonight)

I used to dig for the camera, but after a recent update it started automatically displaying the camera whenever one of the sensors detects you're close to something. I never manually engage it anymore.

Been stuck on 3.5.4 since October. Was granted access to the Early Access program last week, got all excited that I might get the update...still nothing. To make matters worse, stuck on an old version for my Tesla as well. Have not received the Holiday update there either. I have angered the update gods somewhere.
