First week of having the Lightning has gone by, and so far I've been endlessly impressed. There's lots of QOL features that for someone like me, coming from a barebones truck previously, was super nice. Remote starting is easy, I do it before jumping in the shower and it's nice and comfortable when I head to work. One pedal drive is a fun lil gimmick but it's new therefor exciting. Lane centering has been massively impressive, as is adaptive cruise control and speed limit recognition. I don't speed unless I'm slowing the flow of traffic, so the above combine to make commutes a breeze. Truck takes care of a significant portion of the work involved. The tall Lariat screen is awesome for navigation, as the new update makes it so your maps can take up 2/3 of the space. PaaK is cool, I still carry my fob since it has physical keys on it but I like that it auto unlocks for me. I wish it would auto lock too, that'd really feel like the future. Walking up to it, it lighting up, mirrors unfolding, and jumping in so far is my favorite flex. Ride is comfortable and super quiet. Engines make more noise than I expected but I like it, right around 20mph they spin up and it sounds cool, like some sort of Sci Fi machine. I used my fordpass for F-150 floor mats from the dealer and they don't click in (holes don't match) so I ended up leaving them over the original floor mats and it looked fine enough. Wireless phone charger works just fine, I connected to my home wifi in the truck and it seems I'm getting updates as I have the most recent YouTube one. UI is intuitive, I do wish I could remove the rather thick bar of apps like owners manual and what not, if I need the manual I'll go find it.
