I’ve been a bit stumped as to why I haven’t seen points from my Lightning purchase show up in the FordPass app. I found a way to look at activity in the app and even request missing points related to the purchase. When I went to do so, however, I got an error saying I didn’t activate my modem within 60 days and tough luck. I have no idea what this is referring to. First of all, I’ve only had the truck for 30 days so WTF. I’ve had the intermittent issue with the modem not responding but I’ve received update 4.1.1 OTA so I know that works at least. What am I missing here? Anyone experienced this? I’m going to call Ford CS but curious to learn from others first, if possible. Pretty pathetic that a truck’s modem not operating could cost you points.
