Has anyone found a suitable adapter for the 240 outlet in the bed to convert to 14-50 to be able to use the full 7.2kw?
I purchased one of those off Amazon with the cord but upon inspection, it isnt rated for 240 at 30Amps.
I thought FORD had one they gave out to Early owners ...
Thanks

Ford included a few of these in early Lightnings:
My Lightning included a slip of paper in the charger case that told me to order this one. I keep it in the frunk storage area along with my Tesla Tap and a couple of campground adapters.

It's an L14-30P to 14-50R

That link shows a 10-50R 3-prong instead of 14-50R. Did Ford really include that? Wouldn’t work with the mobile charger. Agree on your second link, have one of those in my wishlist.

This will put less stress on the truck's receptacle:

Thank you.
I like the cord one. Will be ordering that.
Does yours have a rating printed on it?
And I assume you have tried it at 7.2kW?
The description says 7500W in the title but further down in the body it says 12500W

But I aslo found this for the smaller adapter.

My mistake, Parkworld 691944 (your link) is the correct adapter. I edited my post. With a locking plug/receptacle there are fewer reasons to get a dogbone. I still prefer them for a more flexible connection. The dogbone with 10/3 conductors is rated properly at 7500 Watts, 7200 from the Lightning 30A @ 240V.

Sorry, corrected. Those are old 50A Range plugs. Ford did include Parkworld 691944 with a few early trucks for giving Tesla friends a charge.

Cool. I am tempted to get the small adapter for the size, but then you could have issues with the charger unit cable. The dogbone looks like it would make things easier so I am going with that

I bought the same RVGuard dogbone.

Then, I added this 25' 30A Extension cord. You can get close to 50 feet total useful length when used with a portable EVSE.

https://www.amazon.com/RVGUARD-Generator-Extension-L14-30P-Organizer/dp/B085HC6JKM

To finish the rig, I also bought the opposite, L14-30R to 14-50P. Using both adapters you get a 28' - 30A - NEMA 14-50 extension cord held together with locking plugs. This will cover a multiple common away-from-home or emergency charging scenarios. Make sure to use an adjustable EVSE and charge at ≤ 24A!

OH yeah. So 80% for continuous operation? Well then I will have to find something that supports 30 amp continuous as I have 3 mobile chargers (1 Tesla and 2 Ford) and using the FORD to another FORD, I cant make that de rate. Maybe once FORD lets us vary the charge rate in the truck I will re look at this. I definitely don't need a 4th EVSE

Using the Ford Mobile Charger from the truck will work fine. Using the one from the Mach-E will trip the truck's circuit if you try to charge using the 30amp plug in the bed.
