*Edit* - I just found out this morning that the noise happens when the AC is on but the cabin has reached the set point. So, for example, if I set the AC to something lower than ambient temp (like 68) then there is no noise. However, if I set it higher than ambient temp (78F) then the noise happens. So noise only occurs for me when AC is on standby seemingly.
*OP*
Trying to figure out if this is a normal noise or not. While I've got the AC on in my truck sometimes there's a low-pitched, audible humming/buzzing noise. Almost sounds like listening to a gas leaf blower far away in the distance.
It doesn't happen all the time, and seems fan speed agnostic too. If I press the AC button off it remains, but if I shut off climate control entirely by pressing in the knob it goes away (XLT so I'm talking physical buttons). Anyone else getting this?
I've not owned a truck before so maybe it's normal, but in our Kia EV6 I only hear the rush of air from the fans while the AC is running.
