In the last 300 or so miles, I have had something rattling inside the driver door and its particularly noticeable when I go over bumps. I removed everything that was in the bottom trays, and it still around. Does anyone have any instructions on how to remove the door panel?

This probably isn't the source of your particular rattle, but this video does a great job demonstrating how to remove the door panel. Translates pretty much one-to-one with the Lightning:

I have noticed it on my driver’s side mirrors as well

Great video, and that might be part of it. However I am looking for the whole door panel itself. I noticed my rattle/noise is coming nearly dead center of the door itself (near the handle but down a bit more). If I push or very light "hit" the affected area, I notice the noise goes away, and then comes back not too long after.

The stage 3 videos are good for door panel removal. They have one for the back door too.

Panels are super easy to get off. just make sure you get all of the bolts, there aren't too many of them, but they are hidden. You may have to pull a decent amount to get the spring clips to release, but all is easy enough.

Ford did a good job on the doors - the wires are all wrapped in their cloth tape, there is a white insulation covering for the whole panel and the wires have quite a few clips that keep them attached. If you've got something loose or rattling it should be pretty easy to find. My thoughts are that you'll have to pull the vapor barrier back and look down under the window itself perhaps. The vapor barrier should stick back on once you peel it loose, but something could be way down in the door behind it.

The "rattling" is most likely coming from the plastic parts of the door and the dashboard near the mirror.

I had that noise occasionally but I jammed my hand in there a couple times and it seems to have stopped. I'll attach a picture later.

Hello, John! Send us a private message with your VIN and the name and location of your local Ford dealer. I’d be happy to see what I can do to assist with this noise concern. Thanks!

I have the same issue on my passenger door. I'm certain it's coming from inside the plastic panel but I don't want to take it apart and risk breaking something.
Did you have any success getting yours fixed yet?

I just followed these instructions and did it to mine. It was the driver door though. With the video, it was super easy. My rattle came from the round white clips that hold the door on. They were loose where they are connected to the door. I took each one out, wrapped the door-end with a little electrical tape, and slid them back into place. Very simple and about a 20 minute project. Not sure which clip it was so I did it to all of them. Six or seven in total, I think. But thank the Lord, the rattle is gone!

Are you referring to the instructions of the first video or the second? My Platinum has had BOTH doors rattling since I got it and it gets worse when the temperatures drop so it's now driving my ears crazy. It's not coming from the pillar area like the first video...somewhere in the door panel itself.

Best of luck. Again, super easy and worth the time to save your sanity… especially if you have it in both doors.
