If you setup your truck after you bought it, you provided Ford with a credit card when you turned on the free connected services, like Plug and Charge to use your free EA hours. That's what they use, the card in your Ford wallet.
How many times now have we posted the same answer at the same time? 😂

It should be fairly trivial to use this system to activate Superchargers once the adapters are rolled out.

I checked yesterday and sure enough it was already on my truck and functional, I don't know when it actually showed up, I did not get any notice that it was available.

Because it's a server-side feature, not an update. So it just magically appears.

But once again they must have some magical selection criteria for who gets it and who does not. I'm still not seeing it.

Both my Mach-E and my Lighting have it. Hit the Home button (house) and there it is in the list.

Maybe it’s because you are using that white screen. I love dark/night mode and use it all the time. Always a surprise to see pictures of the white background screens.

Hmm, logged into my Ford account and I could not find a credit card listed. When I used up the initial 250kWh, I turned off “plug & charge” setup EA and Chargepoint accounts, and have not had any interaction with Ford since 10 months ago. Where is that CC info for Ford shown? Thanks for your patience and help with my incompetence!

And there it is! Thank you. Kind of wish that was findable using a sub-menu of the intial menu at the top.
I think I need to change to my Costco Anywhere Visa card as they give 4% back for EV fueling.

Danger Will Robinson, Danger!

Costco Visa will NOT give you 4% back on Ford charging via the Ford account. Why? Because it comes through as Ford Motor Company, which is not an EV charging provider... I sent that info to Ford months ago, nothing has changed, just used it Saturday, still says the same.

I wonder if Citibank is the one to petition for the recognition?

If you read the fine print, I think you’ll find that the rewards classification is based on the industry code of the business. I doubt you can get anything reclassified.
