I am one year in to my lighting, it's my first EV and my 7th F-150. So I am partial to F150s. But so far I have had 34,000 stress free miles. The only issue I've had is a generic F150 issue (window switch), not EV related. This is the fastest and smoothest driving F150 so far. And the savings are huge, with regarding putting premium gas in an ecoboost vs. $19/month home charging (90% of the time),. With a ~200 mile round trip commute, the saving are awesome. If I had to complain, it would be on software updates resetting my radio presets.
What is the tire life on your truck?

What is the tire life on your truck?
If I remember correctly the 20" general grabber are 50,000 miles. Got annual inspection last week and looks like I will make it to 40,000 safely. The torque of the truck spins all 4 wheels, so that's surprising.

They switched to Goodyear’s out of the factory toward the end of last year. My October ’23 build has them and no issues as expected with only 2,000 on the clock.

I started my EV path with a 2021 Premium SR Mach-E, 30k miles I moved to my 2023 XLT ER and have 4k miles. No issues but road tripping is beyond painful, I'm not sold Tesla charging will be the savior. Be realistic in your use case and expectations, most never see the advertise range and winter temps will be another 20% reduction.

I am happy with my truck and it saves money around town for sure. But ICE is way better for road trips and towing.

I don't see any point in buying a new one at this point. The market is saturated with used models that can be had at a huge savings.

You can get a 22/23 ER Lariat under 10k miles all day for under 58k without even haggling.

If you only want a SR, you can get sub 50k for the same trim.
I bought my brand new 2023 Lariat ER for $61,500 after $7.5k rebates, $2.5k dealer discount and $7.5k tax credit. I think a used at $58k is a good deal if you can’t negotiate.

My first test drive. ... So my question to all is ⚡ worth it? Any current owner issues?
Don't know how hot it gets where you are in Oklahoma. We hit 114 to 116 deg F quite a few days in July and August last summer in San Antonio (and will probably see a lot more of that or worse in the future). I kept my truck in an insulated garage where it never got hotter than 85 to 90 degrees most days and I used a portable in-room B&D air conditioner that I exhausted out a garage vent to cool the garage down to less than 85 deg at night. Since I don't drive much (only ~2,300 miles in 9 months), I kept the battery around 50% for in-town driving, especially during the hottest days of the summer. I also got the Max Tow package on the theory that two compressors, one for the cabin, one for the battery and the motors, would help keep everything cooler with less wear-and-tear on the compressor hill climbing on the Interstate in 116 deg weather - although I tried to plan most activities to avoid going out in the hottest times of the day - not just for the truck but also for little old (literally) me! Most of the above is probably not really necessary but having spent ~$95K on the truck, I wanted to pamper it. Leaving a truck sit out at 90% SOC in direct sun all day in San Antonio summers is probably not a good idea over the lifespan of the truck if you're planning to keep it a long time, as I am. It can reach 140 deg F or more on the surface of asphalt parking lots in that kind of weather.

I'm at 10000 miles with an ER battery. Discount Tires rated tire wear as 10/10/10/9 on a 10 point scale. Was pleased with that.

I may be mistaken, but I think you're misunderstanding that information. The tires start with a certain tread depth, like 13/32nds. Discount Tire measures the depth and notes what is remaining, in your case 10/32nds, 10/32nds, 10/32nds, and 9/32nds. They don't rate it on a 10 points scale. Right @Discount Tire?

I've previously understood the rating in 32nds. But the tech told me I was a 10 on 3 tires and a 9 on the fourth. He probably meant in 32nds and I just misunderstood.

I've had mine now for over a year and would not go back. This is the best truck I've had for all truck activities except towing range. My wife also has the MME now for nearly 2 years. I can say the quality of the build on both is great. The software was/is glitchy but improving monthly as they send out updates.
I've had only one minor issue between the two EVs - The charging harness needed to be replaced after a year on my Lightning. L2 charging started erroring out, but DCFC worked fine so I could keep driving until the dealer could get it fixed up. Other than that, I get in, smile and drive.

My first test drive. Well my local dealer is offering $7,500 off MSRP to match the $7,500 POS instant credit. Great deal, $15k off but after owning a Model 3 and seeing how cheep they were assembled we are having hard time on EV vs Gas. I don’t haul or tow so I would be good with this as an EV truck and as great daily driver.. And it’s way cheaper than the EV Chevy, Ram and CT once these $30k-$80k more expensive options are finally released. Know purchasing this ⚡ will save a lot of we money compared to EV comps. So my question to all is ⚡ worth it? Any current owner issues?
I've got one of the very first Lightnings to be manufactured. I love this truck. Forget all the talk about "saving money" or "saving the environment". The draw for this truck is the amazing ride and the amazing acceleration. It's a dream to drive. And if you have a charger at home, you'll not need to worry about range.

That would be correct. Tire inspections involve air checks and tire tread wear measured in 32nds. Don't hesitate to take advantage of this free service we provide.

And $2-$4 a day charging is way better than $50-$70 a week in a ICE truck .
Sorry in advance, but this always bugs me. Keep your units straight. Day /= week. Also would help to state your assumptions. What's your kWh rate at home? And what is your local gas price per gallon?
