Hey all. Just joined hoping that I will soon be an owner. I don’t think I’ll find a deal as good as MonsterLag’s, but am hoping to find something similar. I am in Florida, but willing to purchase from anywhere if I can find the right deal. Seems the best I’ll find down here is around 65. Anyway, if anyone else has negotiated any good deals that they don’t think they’ll move forward with, or recently did a deal with a dealer that has another Lariat ER on the lot that you think can be replicated, please let me know. I’d love to join the club soon!

If the dealers in NY allow shipping, DePaula Ford and Greenwich Ford were at $7k dealer discount+ all the rebates I got.

Just curious. Not seeing the 7k dealer discount on either website. I can stack the other rebates (minus the private offer and who knows about the 1k zip code one). I assume you are local and the dealer discounts are advertised on the vehicle? Any sales person you suggest I ask for? Thank you!

It wasn’t advertised anywhere, it’s just what I was offered when I was trying to get them to match the $10k discount I found at a dealer 3 hours away. They didn’t match but that’s as close as they got, seems better than anything in FL.

Sales guy doesn’t really matter since it has to go through a manager anyway.

DO NOT GO IN ASKING FOR AN OFFER. Do the math and calculate where you want to be at, explain the rebates you qualify for and then submit that as your offer.

Everybody should be able to get the Private offer, there should be a pop up on Ford Website. Make sure your ad block is off.

Thanks. This is really great advice! I look forward to getting the on the phone tomorrow and seeing what I can do! I’ll try clicking on every banner to see if I trigger the private offer (haha). Maybe I’ll try on desktop to see if that triggers it.

Re 1. There's been a lot of subtle content deletion. The price reductions didn't come out of thin air. From a dramatically shortened Blue Cruise free trial, the disappearance of 80A Level 2 charging, and a smattering of other standard options disappearing, enough has disappeared that early adopters don't have to feel bad.

Re 2/3. Updates are coming fast and furious now. I've received three updates in the past three weeks. Everything seems to be a nice improvement. Ford has upped their game. The 12V battery monitoring fix has helped a lot of folks.

Re 4. I've had zero issues. It's fine, but I typically pay using the Apps to get my membership discount unless I am in a hurry.

Re 5. It's won't deliver that big of a difference.

Re 6. The longest wait that I had was for the heated steering wheel undeletion -- Ford stepped up for us who got shorted with the chip shortage and gave us heated steering wheels. That wait was 3 weeks. For my dealer, there's nothing special about the Lightning at this point and the techs seem to understand them.

I've just crossed over 20k miles in 10 months on my 2023. 20k mile service is on Monday. It's been trouble free. Love it.
I'm considering a new 2023 Lariat Lightning (511.Opt).w/ the extended battery range; the dealerships are discounting them by $15k. I'm pretty familiar with ownership of a Tesla, I started off with leasing a Model Y Long Range, then recently purchased a Performance Model Y this past October as my 30 month lease was ending. I initially wanted to get into a F-150 Lightning, but at $100k, I was like "no thank you", and went with the above mentioned out of necessity.

My question is really geared towards the 20k service; what was performed and what was the overall cost. I think one of the major benefits to owning an EV is the reduced need for maintenance vs a combustion engine and transmission (fluids, oil changes, etc). I've never taken my Tesla in for service, other than adding windshield wipers fluid, I basically didn't have to do anything accept keep it clean and manage the tire pressure. I haven't owned a Tesla long enough to replace the tires, but I can certainly see how that's worth a service shop visit.

Anyways, I love hunting and fishing from a Kayak; so a pickup truck platform is in my future.

20k mile service is basically rotate tires and change cabin air filter.

My recent 20k mile service was $200, including state inspection and a fresh set of wiper blades on top of the Ford requirements. EVs are very low maintenance.

While you may personally not have bothered with maintenance on your Tesla, those cars have actually very similar service requirements to the F150. Your Tesla should be going into the service center regularly for maintenance, just like any of their vehicle.

Yes, I'm pretty good with performing my own maintenance: regular oil, oil filter, air filter and cabin filter on my wife Grand Cherokee Summit, as well as valve adjustments on my BMW R18 Bagger motorcycle..

In hindsight.. I've actually replaced the cabinet filter in the long range Model Y; I haven't owned the Performance long enough to swap out the in cabin filter, as well as an additional hepa filter that is located in the frunk.

Where are you seeing these trucks discounted by 15k? Are you talking about the fed tax credit and the retail cash 5000 or 7500 depending on the region?

I posted an entire breakdown already. It’s the first post.

So I am beginning to think replicating this is impossible. I am defeated. After calling dealers all over the country (including some recommended by the OP), I can't even anything under 64 (Lariat ER), let alone low to mid 50's like I was hoping to replicate. Anyway, just thought I'd share with everyone who thought that it might finally be possible to get into this truck and not be a millionaire. Sorry, just very frustrated. Great job OP and Kenny who were able to get this deal!

to be clear, the discount from the dealer was only $9820. The rest was all rebates that I qualified for.
