Because that Tesla Mega Supercharger location has a mix of V2 and V3, they won't open for us to prevent confusion.

I was bummed too!
Electrify America is there next to Tesla with one of there biggest stations and it has always been available and working for me, yes that is a bummer though. We still gain more options along the 15fwy with Tesla.

yes, I know but when the EA chargers are full, I have to go about 1/2 mile up the road to get to the EVGo chargers located at the largest thermometer.

Rather go to Tesla as they have tons of reliable chargers.

I paid for the Tesla pass, in the mornings I can charge at 0.31c/kWh and it's 0.37c per in the afternoon. EA without a pass is charging me 0.50+c per which is asinine.

Baker seems like a prime spot for Tesla to convert the V2 to V3.
They can shut the V2 down and still have the V3 going.

Hopefully..

That's why I dumped EA and EVgo which I used to charge at for the past 2 years.

$12.99 Tesla membership is well worth the monthly if you charge at least 2x a month.

I charge at least 4-5x a month.

$0.34 is cheaper than home?! May I ask where do you live?
So Calif.
Home rate is $0.61/kWh peak, $0.26/kWh off peak + transmission & delivery charges.

On the road during peak hours, it's way cheaper at Tesla ($0.32/kWh) plus I get 6% back on the card.

That’s crazy high! My buddy was showing me his bill from socal Edison. My rate at home in Michigan is .7, .10, .14 super on peak. That’s year round. So quite the difference. lol.

In past month I've done 4 long trips, and if I never have to use an EA or SharePoint again I'd be very happy. The Tesla just works, pull up, plug in, charging starts. Plenty of spaces and always a place to take a break that isn't a walmart.

In addition to network pricing and network membership discounts, electricity prices are also regulated by states as a utility and can vary widely across state boundaries... just a contributory reminder here as many of us already know. In my Mach E days, I've filled that car up for as low as around $6+ (Wisconsin and Utah) and as high as $42+ (NY State). The networks were different as well.
