Hey all,
I bought a lightning a few weeks ago, first truck and have been loving it so far!
That said, been having issues with bluecruse not activating. Initially Ford support suspected it was related to tsb 23-2122 as the maps date was June of this year. I took it in to get serviced and they were able to get everything updated, yet bluecruse continues not to engage. Note: I have verified adaptive cruse control is enabled with hands free option on, as well as driving on an approved highway. No errors come up when enabling cruse control with lane assist, it just never goes from hand-required to hands-free.
The dealer mentioned they suspect DTC U2404:0A to be the cause, which they stated Ford will apply some "software on the fly once they refine it".
Anyway since then, I have been looking at the code via FORScan and can confirm there is an error in the GWM:
I wanted to see if anyone has any theories. At this point I'm just really curious what it could be. I've tried to reseat the connections from the IPMA to the GWM with no luck. I would have also expected an ethernet failure with the IPMA would have more noticeable issues like lane centering or adaptive curse to not operate, but those have all been fine.
Anyone have any thoughts? Does it seem reasonable that this is something Ford can fix over the air?

Code: U2404 - Ethernet Failure With Image Processing Module 'A' (IPMA)
Additional Fault Symptom ( :0A ):
- General Electrical Failures - 2
I did run the self test on the IPMA which reported no errors.I wanted to see if anyone has any theories. At this point I'm just really curious what it could be.
