You have the new GWM update sitting in your queue from earlier this morning. Go to the truck, start it and manually check for updates. Leave the truck running for 10 minutes or so and that should be enough for it to install.

Your truck is on the latest Sync version and the modem seems to be working just fine. You do not show a lot of pending updates. I think you may only be missing the 6.13/CMR-FX OTA as far as the power up updates go; maybe the 6.8.0 IPC update, too.....I can't tell as I don't know the software version by memory. All the other pending updates are minor PU updates and the IPMA/PSCM updates you see here are not available OTA. I don't anything to be worried about here, tbh.

OTA history is still blank.

There is nothing for you to "try". Your truck is fine; the problem lays in the OTA process which is not great.

You know, for those old enough to remember LAN parties, maybe we should arrange update parties where 10-15 people bring their trucks in and we update software all night 😀
This very thought has crossed my mind a couple times. With ProPower, could literally be done anywhere!

I assume you're asking about the powertrain fault message you just got? Attached is the SSM associated with the SOBDMC code is reported. Your car does not qualify for the SSM referenced the CMR code; that can be ignored.

As far as software goes, the truck is on the latest Sync version and shows recent OTA history. You had the OBCC update for the Tesla chargers fail due to vehicle inactivity.....seems like it was parked for a few weeks in April and the truck was not turned on while the OTA trigger was active to allow it to install.

It's hard to tell remotely. If the powertrain fault was a one time deal, then maybe it was a glitch in the matrix. The SSM is could be cause by a loose connection or ground. If you continue to get the powertrain fault, you will have to have the dealer take a look at it.

As far as the failed update, that is nothing to worry about. They will resend it to you eventually.

You probably should have lead with that. lol Full warranty history is attached as well as the codes it has reported to the cloud for the past 60 days. It seems like the previous owner had several problems with it and traded it in due to multiple issues. As a car salesman myself, I hate doing things like this because this is also how I make a living. However, it seems like this truck may be a headache waiting to happen. While a lot of these things car be fixed with simple software updates, at this time, all the powertrain updates for the Lightnings are on hold so the dealer would not be able to apply the updates that may correct some of these problems. I would walk away.
