I think I can get OTD at 50k. Is this a good deal? MSRP 81K. Someone took a huge loss here.
Anything specific about the 2022 Lariat ER that should concern me other than being a first gen model?

Health of the High Voltage Battery is your biggest concern. Thousands of 2022 trucks had modules replaced, search "23B57".

It might be a good buy, but the lower price may be explained by the module replacement issue. Ask whose name is on the title now, Ford?

As someone who paid the full-rip $81k+ for the same truck, I think $50k is a steal, with the caveat that (as Zprime29 mentioned) you ought to pop for the Granger extended warranty with the savings to ensure many years of uninterrupted awesome. These are amazing trucks and well worth $50k for a 2022 Lariat with none of the deletes of later trucks. I liked mine so much (bought in February of 2023) that we bought one for my wife as well in May of this year (XLT, $23k off MSRP brand new, lessens the sting of paying MSRP a year earlier). Good luck and yeah, I'd jump at $50k OTD, personally!
Cheers

The battery and electric drive train has 8yr 100,000mi. Warranty.

That truck should also qualify for the used EV tax credit as well.

2022ā€™s had a ton more bells and whistles that the 2023 and 2024 do not.

Took delivery of my Lariat same package in November 22 and now have 35,830 trouble free miles on it.
Truck is still awesome!
Iā€™m guessing your truck is only 2 years old at most and would have another year of factory warranty.
I wouldnā€™t sell mine for 50k.
Ditch the Tundra.

Needs to be under 25k to qualify for used credit.

OTD can vary greatly depending on the state. Some states require dealers to collect tax. Others allow you to title yourself and pay tax at that time. A few states have no sales tax on vehicles.

We have a '22 Lariat ER with 23k miles. It was a Mannequin (demo) with 7k miles when I bought it. Had the powertrain fault within three weeks of purchase. New module installed and no problems since other than the several recalls we have all experienced.

ā€˜22 Lariat, just shy of 18k miles. Bought it new, no major issues so far, and having seen the huge depreciation I went ahead and bought the extended warranty. Love the truck, so Iā€™m happy to settle in with it for the next 5+ years knowing I have that warranty.

Iā€™d go for it, just get the warranty.

Purchased a used ā€˜22 Lariat ER w/2500 miles (dealer demo). Paid $25K below sticker. Still has 12 mo. of warranty. Came with mobile charger and the 80 amp charger (both new). Added a soft bed cover and purchased a Tesla SC adapter (waiting on Ford for official adapter). Have driven for 3 months and not a hint of a problem. Among the best vehicles Iā€™ve owned.

Wow, nice find! Makes me a little jealous when I look at what I paid :D No regrets though, wife especially loves I can precool the cabin when we go places. We're flat out spoiled rotten now.

I've a 22 Lariat, made in May, 2022, 13k miles. LOVE IT. What's the story on the extended warranty? Do I go back to the dealer and buy from them? Or what's the "Granger" warrant folks are talking about?
