sorry to trouble you again. I got my vehicle back today after they pushed through the update 6.4 that was stuck. Wondering if you can check again to see if I have any update ford send to me but still haven’t been download/install. Just want to make sure the OTA will start working properly.

the App still show my last update is back in June with the 6.2

VIN# 1FT6W1EV6PWG60585
They updated the TCU so they took care of the failed update and they also updated the OBCC. Modem is working fine, but no other OTA is in queue at this time.

can you check mine when you have a chance: 1FT6W1EV5NWG14422

I should be up to date with the OTA process except I dont recall Getting CMR-FX after 6.13 and the DOR-UP2. Also curious if the csp-23b57 was done properly by the dealership. Thanks.
23B57 was done in October of last year. The last OTA you is not recorded in OTA history, so I am guessing it was over 3 months ago since that is how long OTA's are recorded in PTS. You do not show a CMR update pending, so you must have gotten that update at some point. it is difficult to say exactly where you are in terms of the OTA process, but based on the few modules with pending updates, you are pretty far along the process.

It's possible you didn't get it. Your CMR is not at the same version mine is. Another member here is having some CMR codes and there is no CMR update showing for him either, and another guy on the ICE forums is in the same boat. Not sure if Ford pulled the CMR update from the server to fix something in it, but once I see a pattern like this, it tells me something is up.

What are you looking for or what is the issue? Warranty has not started on this truck....is this a truck you're looking to buy?

The vehicles affected by 6.13 was not a config issue; it was bad software. That was only fixable with FDRS or the CMR-FX OTA. I updated the CMR to fix this issue for a member on the Mach E forums some months ago who happened to also live in Miami. That issue was pretty bad and affected all BC equipped vehicles.

Took delivery July 4th - no issues to report
Modules with pending updates are below. Not many as expected since it is a 2024. However, it does not seem your dealer has reported the sale to Ford yet. The modem appears as both retail and fleet authorized (supposed to be retail only), but all connectivity seems to be working just fine.

To anyone following this thread: I am looking for the VIN of any Lightning that has received IPC update 6.8.0 and gained the SoC on the dash back. I also need the VIN of a truck that got 6.8.0 and did NOT get the SoC back.

Edit: Got one of the two; just need a VIN for a truck that got the SoC display after 6.8.0.

I still don’t have any updates from the dealership. My truck is still sitting in their lot, waiting to hear back from Ford.
Monday will be 2 weeks at the dealer. Which coincidentally will also be the 1 year anniversary since I received my last software update.
Just got a new update from the dealer, which they received from Ford

Lets get in order to solve warnings before going into OTA. GIVIS warnings shown in FDRS can be reported yourself.
With the release of FDRS 40.4.8 the GVMS warning feature in FDRS now includes all vehicle lines. This feature has FDRS checking for certain server warnings. When it finds a warning for a module, it will place hash marks or diagonal lines through that module. The module may not be able to complete programming, depending on the warning. It is important to note that the module having hash marks or diagonal lines will only effect programming. It does not indicate the software or configuration with the module.

It also should not stop normal diagnostics from being performed. If normal diagnostics lead to replacing a module. Please usethe options to submit a request to clear the warning.

Uploading some screenshots from FDRS of the warnings and submitting a request to clear it.
The request can then be checked by going to PTS > Technical Assistance > As-Built Assistance Request Status > change drop down to ALL. The goal is to fix/clear the warning in 48 to 72 hours. In some cases, it may take longer that.

Once warnings are clear and to enable OTA updates if clearing warnings do not enable OTAs:
Advise Customer to sign up for the Ford Early Access Program using the attached link.
I’m already part of the Early Access Program, so hopefully that will help a little bit (although I’m not holding my breath)

My truck gained the SoC after 6.8.0- 1FT6W1EV5PWG37606
Thank you! Trying to figure out if the SoC can be enabled with FORScan. I'll get back to every one when I have more info.

Edit: Long story short, it cannot be fixed with FORScan.

Can you check 1FT6W1EVXPWG38153 ?

I got 4.2.1.1, 4.2.1.2, then digital owner's manual OTA on consecutive days about a month after purchase. No other updates since.

Trying to figure out if anything is else has been queued but isn't downloading / installing.

I don't fully follow what they are saying. Is the implication that there are modules that have an error preventing them from being eligible for updates?

I didn't sign up for early access, wondering now if that will help.

Your guess is as good as mine. He sent a follow up text saying that they have a game plan now based on that response. So we’ll see where it goes from here. Tomorrow will be 3 weeks that it’s been in the shop.
