Funny thing is, I just got my lightning and the adapter status says October. I ordered my Mach-e adapter when the program first opened up, and the status is January.

Good thing I bought an A2Z and Lectron adapter. I have used them already, including for rental cars.

I know a fellow who just got a Blazer EV and he got his charger adapter in a week. Not free, but he ordered it with his GM points.

Seriously WTF Ford. If you are going to offer you customers a benefit please figure out how to fulfill. I ordered my free Tesla adapter on March 8 with expectations of a month or two. Then September. Now January? Figure it out !

Order number 90023467 ordered on 29 Feb 24, delivery now scheduled for Jan 25. Bets on whether I go a year before getting the adapter!!

I really hate Ford website, I use to login and the order status for adaptor was easy to see, now I can't find it. I found order number from my July order but no idea where to look up.

I'm wondering if you actually get yours first since there may be more of a legal obligation to give you yours since you bought it with the understanding the adapter would be included. Ford could be reserving some for new purchases going forward to meet actual obligations rather than "we're being nice to you" obligations to past buyers.

This is really disapointing. I have not gone on a long enough drive to have needed DCFC. This fall I had two trips planned where I will need to use a DCFC. I have a hunting trip in Marshall, MN in a couple weeks and the Tesla location is the only good reliable one. This area has very few fast chargers but the Tesla location was going to be the lifesaver. Since this is such short notice, the A2Z option might not arrive in time for my trip.

LOL, how about we call this the September Batch!!

I'll tell you what's disappointing... 7 months and still not a single Canadian customer is officially able to use Superchargers. Yes, third party adapters work, but they're not approved, so if anything breaks you would be on the hook for damage to the truck or charger. Obviously that's a risk that most people are willing to take. But not shipping any adapters at all to Canada is disappointing.
