I’m confused why anybody’s paying for service this soon the warranty includes recommended services and tire rotation until three years or 50,000 miles or something like that I think. I’ve had mine in twice and didn’t pay a penny.
No, it doesn't.

I did the 10k service myself and logged it. I had them do the 20k, because it was in for a recall anyway. The 20k was super cheap and they even threw in new wipers, so I didn’t think anything of bringing it in for the 30k service. For the 30k, they charged me $265 to rotate the tires and install a fresh cabin air filter — insane. I left the dealer feeling very annoyed and taken advantage of.

With the bumper to bumper warranty nearly up, I am back to doing the services myself going forward.

And yes, they’re extremely pushy on oil changes. LOL

America's Tire Store also provides a free rotation and if you want tires balanced they charge $60 for the 4 tires. In the past they have had the lowest prices for the tires I have bought for my vehicles. I do need to verify that the technician has updated the TPMS sensors as they tend to forget.

TPMS sensors do not need updated.

That is a horrible price for the 10k mile service. My dealer just raised the price from $20 to $35 and I thought that was nuts.
Mine was $39...next time they will want to change the cabin filter too, oh no! Wonder what they'll want?

Owner's manual seems to indicate that TPMS training not required if all tire pressures are the same. Does that mean that the truck will automatically sense the movement(rotation) of the tires to a new position and no "Re-training" is required ?

Came across this YouTube video explaining a "Re-training" procedure for the Lightning, tho this was for a tire repair/rotation. He does mention he rotated tires as well as the repair, and then did the Re-training. Was this really necessary ??

I swap wheels and tires twice per year and the truck immediately recognizes the installed set.

Crap I haven't found the refill port for the blinker fluid yet and I am at 8k miles. Is there one for the front and a separate one for the rear?
And right and left - don’t mixup the two! 😂
