I have a 23 but I've seen it show EA and Tesla. The only good thing about the google maps route planning is that it preconditions the battery. It's severely lacking otherwise when compared to something like ABRP as you can't set a preferred charge network, change a charging location if multiple stops are required or set SOC on arrival.

Yeah, I don't have even the luxury of using AA with Google maps. All suggested charging time stops are 10 minutes. The whole thing is broken.

I really wanna see another '22 with the same issue as me so I can know if it was an issue with rollout or with my vehicle in particular. Either way, I guess I'm picking up a half decent OBD II since my Veepeak doesn't work well with my Android

Which veepeak? I use this one for ABRP and CarScanner and haven't had any issues with a Galaxy S22+.

Android Auto is the same. Downloaded your version APK and same result. Im gonna pull the 12v for a hard reset and beyond that I'm out of ideas.

10.x.x isnnot a vehicle software version. It’s an Update Number.
There is no truck software version. Each module has a software version. Different trucks are shipped with modules on different versions and/or with different hardware iterations of the module.
Hence not all trucks get every update and all trucks are not updated in a blanket way like a Tesla or iPhone would be.

You can to have someone pull your vehicle module software status with FDRS in order to determine what updates are available for your vehicle.

I have now had 2 people pull my vin from FDRS and I have 13 modules that have updates.

Not unusual at all. In two years of ownership and having had it checked a dozen times, I have had between 7 and 15 modules showing available updates. The ones that really need updating get done via OTA or recall (dealer visit required). I've never done them myself.

Don't stress out over it. You are not being singled out. But the only way to truly solve it is to buy the equipment and do the module updates yourself.

Personally, I have had more added features (glare-free lights, BC 1.3, etc.) doing the FORScan mods myself which only require a $60 adapter.

So just discovered that you apparently can change a charging location if you have multiple charging stops but you have to start the route. Seems like a bit of a miss by google.

Replacing Suggested Charge Stops
Select your destination. A preview of the route displays with suggested charge stops.
Tap the Replace button on the route preview.

I watch the update threads like hawk, no '22 owners have reported [OTA] 10.x updates, you're in good company with myself and the rest of the inaugural owners.

I got the karaoke update today. Not that I’m interested or complaining but I don’t have the app even the update was successful.
